Our large corporate client is looking for a Manager of Marketing Research who is a skilled moderator with a strong background in primary qualitative and quantitative research and has an executive presence to work with senior levels within the organization. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, so you must be a stellar project manager with experience in planning, risk management, and issue resolution. Responsibilities

  • Determine, plan and monitor research projects to meet business requirements
  • Manage research project workflows/processes and determine best approach and resources needed to get the job done
  • Manage necessary changes to scope and schedule and identify impacts of these
  • Analyze and monitor risks making contingency plans and adjustments as needed
  • Document and maintain research initiatives
  • Function as SME and internal advisor on research methodologies
  • Use multiple qualitative/quantitative research techniques for internal execution or through utilization of third parties
  • Form vendor relationships and manage vendors involved in research projects
  • Manage vendor reviews, contract negotiations and other vendor evaluation efforts
  • Analyze research data, convert insights into actionable deliverables and make recommendations to management
  • Remain abreast of research methodologies and trends, participate in industry events and provide updates to team
  • Implement best practices within the organization


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years minimum work experience, no exceptions
  • 5+ years’ experience in qualitative/quantitative research as well as program management
  • 5+ years’ moderator experience conducting focus groups and qualitative interviews
  • Experience writing and managing business, project, and communication plans
  • Proven success managing projects through all phases of project lifecycle
  • Big picture thinking combined with tactical detail management skills
  • Outstanding project management, process management and analytical skills
  • Highly skilled at vendor, team and client management
  • MS Office proficient


Minimal travel – approximately 10%
